Format:

Created by a partnership between health promotion, youth treatment agencies and youth and tested in 7 schools in urban and rural settings, the program asks teens who are already using marijuana – or their friends – to identify the real risks of marijuana use. It calls on teens to check themselves out and recognize the potential risks of marijuana and implement ways to reduce, avoid or prevent these risks.

Application/relevance to curriculum:

Health and Physical Education.
