This section provides contact information and a brief description for a number of Canadian and international not-for-profit organizations, networks, associations, services, and government agencies that are involved in the field of substance use and related issues.
Many of these organizations offer extensive information, resources and programs that can be adapted to enhance work with students and the broader community. Fact sheets, brochures, research, articles, and presentation materials are often available to download from websites.
In addition, many of these organizations sponsor annual conferences, professional training, and workshops, and as a result may be a useful resource when seeking professional speakers on relevant topics.
