About us

Ophea (Ontario Physical and Health Education Association) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting Ontario school communities through advocacy, quality programs and services, and partnership building. Ophea is led by the vision that all kids will value, participate in, and make a lifelong commitment to active, healthy living.

Ophea provides a variety of programs and services for school communities aimed at improving the health and well-being of children and youth. These initiatives include: Living School, activ8, ActiveSchools, Asthma Education Initiative, Take Action, H&PE Curriculum Implementation Support, Kids’ Health Conference, Lungs Are For Life, Ophea.net, Ontario Physical Education Safety Guidelines, Physical Activity Resource Center (PARC), Menu of Choices, CyberCops, and Always Changing Vibrant Faces.
