Jumpin’ On Top - Oakville Beaver

St. Joseph School and W. H. Morden schools picked up the top prize in a national education challenge and were both rewarded with an Everyone Jump Celebration Concert for the entire school. The Celebration concert is a vibrant, dynamic, live music show that gets the kids on their feet, dancing and singing along. Everyone Jump Kids Changing Diabetes is a free program for Grade 5 classrooms that teaches kids the importance of regular physical activity and healthy eating in preventing Type 2 Diabetes. Here, the kids at St. Joseph School take in the concert with hosts Andrew Chandler and Cara Stephenson, left. Ten-year-old Nicolas Pece of St. Joseph won a plaque for a well-written paragraph on diabetes in the 2007 Everyone Jump Educational Challenge.
